BROKER IN CHARGE : PRINCIPAL AGENT : 1999 - PRESENT

Delivering specialized expertise and a relentless drive on behalf of his clients in the Carolinas and beyond.

Jeremy’s commercial real estate career began in Washington, DC in the Investment Services Group of Barnes, Morris, Pardoe & Foster—one of DC Metro’s most prestigious commercial real estate brokerage firms. In 1997, Barnes Morris merged with Insignia/ESG—which has since merged with CB Richard Ellis—a global commercial real estate provider. In 1999, Jeremy ventured out on his own to establish J. Harlan Properties in Asheville, NC, the firm that would later become G/M Property Group.

Mr. Goldstein advises private and institutional investors nationwide in the acquisition, disposition, and financing of commercial property. His background includes strategic planning, detailed financial and market analysis, portfolio valuation, and development of overall marketing strategies. Jeremy is responsible for day-to-day client communication, direction of the sales process, and contract negotiation.

Over the past 30 years, Jeremy has built a successful multi-disciplinary real estate practice. Due to this broad-based experience, he provides invaluable perspective, advice and counsel to owners, developers, purchasers, landlords, and tenants of all commercial property types. He has participated in the sale of more than 65 retail properties, predominantly anchored strip shopping centers, totaling over $350 million dollars. Since 1994, Mr. Goldstein has executed more than $650 million in sales, leasing, financing and development transactions and has underwritten over $3 billion of commercial property.

In 2022, Jeremy completed Radview–a 4-story, 22,623 square foot mixed-use Opportunity Zone development in the heart of Asheville’s River Arts District. The project consists of artist studio workspace with retail frontage on Level 1, modern offices with ground floor access on Level 2 and 26 market rate studio apartments on Levels 3 and 4. Jeremy’s current River Arts District development project, The Artful Way, is a 6-story, 65,278 square foot mixed use building that will deliver in 2024. It consists of a 2-story parking garage on Levels 1 and 2, a 27-room boutique hotel on Levels 3 and 4, two small commercial spaces on Level 3 adjacent to the hotel lobby and 34 market rate studio apartments on Levels 5 and 6.
